IBM Mashup Center and WebSphere sMash announced
IBM has announced two new products: WebSphere sMash and Mashup Center.
Both of these are mashup products. The company said that the IBM Mashup Center is designed to enable nontechnical business users to quickly build new applications by melding data from various sources.
The WebSphere sMash is designed to provide a mashup development environment for technical users.
IBM Mashup Center would be launched as a beta edition later this month. It would also come equipped with management, security and governance features required by IT departments to use the mashups in corporations.
IBM WebSphere sMash is designed to support dynamic scripting languages. It also enables rapid aggregation of disparate services and feeds.
