Adobe merging units serving PCs, Web, mobile phones and consumer electronics
Software giant Adobe has said that they are now merging their units which are selling software to design programs for PCs, Web, mobile devices and consumer electronics.
This is just another step in their consolidation process after they merged with rival company Macromedia few years ago.
The company added that its mobile and devices business unit would now join their experience and technology group led by Adobe Chief Technology Officer Kevin Lynch.
Lynch came to Adobe from Macromedia where he was an executive level employee.
