Windows 7 coming next year?
Microsoft chairman Bill Gates has been quoted as saying that he expects the next version of Windows OS to ship sometime next year.
Windows’ next edition is just called Windows 7 right now. The company had said sometime back that they aimed to come out with new releases on a more regular basis after Vista launch suffered many delays.
Gates said in a statement: “I’m super-enthused about what it will do in lots of ways. That’ll be sometime in the next year or so that we’ll have a new version.”
Gates is currently scheduled to leave his day to day working at the company in June this year. He would then spend more time with his Gates Foundation.
