Richland, WA - The April 2008 issue of macCompanion magazine is now available online. Each article has been made printable through the magic of CSS via the browser of your choice. There is also a 105-page PDFed version of the magazine available for download.

Robert Pritchett discusses the Loss of power by Microsoft and the rising significance of Apple along with a report on ongoing changes for the magazine.

Jonathan Hoyle looks at the “Basics” for Mac OS X.

Harry {doc} Babad gathered more MacTips on Leopard haxies. Burning data multiple times to CD, a MS Word format converter, and Excel table cell alignment and Onyx.

Rick Sutcliffe discusses the MacBook Air, iStrand and eHNet in his column titled “Thin is the New Thick”.

Dr Eric Flescher debuts with his new column, “Raider of the Lost Macintosh” pointing to freeware for the Mac.

And Harry {doc} Babad also writes about his experiences parlaying others over Wikipedia as a possible Reference source, as he co-authored “Nuclear Energy and the Use of Nuclear Materials For High School and Middle School Teachers”.
