Google Docs get offline editing support!
Google Docs are going to become more potent challenger to casual office productivity suites as the search engine giant is adding offline support to the toolkit.
The company said that some users would soon get the ability to edit their documents when they don’t have online connectivity on their machines.
Google is implementing the Google Gears technology to add this feature. Google Gears was launched to bring offline support to online applications.
The company is working on adding the same feature to the Spreadsheet and Presentation module of the suite as well.
