OpenOffice.org 2.4 update released
The developers behind the popular open source office application OpenOffice have released the latest version.
OpenOffice is now in version 2.4 and it is available as a free download for Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.
The developers said that this update is mostly an incremental upgrade with small feature updates in the applications present in this office productivity suite.
They are currently scheduled to release OpenOffice.org version 3.0 in September this year. That version is highly awaited as it would bring support for the Microsoft’s Office 2007 file formats.
