Microsoft Windows Search 4.0 Preview available for download
Software giant Microsoft has made available the preview edition of their Windows Search 4.0.
This is the latest version of their desktop search tool which enables the user to documents, e-mails, photos, and other files archived on their hard drives.
The new edition features Encrypted File System indexing. This feature enables the searching of one computer’s hard drive by another one.
The company has added another new feature to this new version named Rollback Recovery. This enables the user to bring the index to the last known “good state.”
Microsoft claims that this new version is faster than the default desktop search tools they provide in Vista and XP operating system.
