Wine 0.9.58 released
The developers behind the Wine project have announced the availability of version 0.9.58.
Wine is a free implementation of Windows on UNIX making it possible for the users of Linux to run applications originally designed for Windows operating system.
The changelog for this latest release:
– The default version is now Windows XP.
– Many Richedit improvements.
– Beginning of jscript dll support.
– Shell folders now respect XDG directory configuration.
– Many translation updates.
– Lots of bug fixes.
Wine is supported by Google who have been providing resources to make sure that the most popular Windows application run well on the Linux platform through Wine.
