Amentra acquired by Red Hat
Linux Company Red Hat has announced the acquisition of IT consulting firm Amentra which specializes in open-source technologies.
The company said that this acquisition would help them sell its JBoss Java infrastructure to enterprises.
Amentra deals in SOA and business process management and they would continue to operate independently.
The two companies did not reveal the financial aspects of this acquisition deal.
Red Hat said that the employees of Amentra would continue to work in their current offices. They added that the acquisition would help them support their “Enterprise Acceleration” initiative.
