Apple: Massive response to the iPhone SDK
Apple has revealed that they have received tremendous response to the launch of the SDK for their iPhone mobile phone device.
The company said that more than 100,000 developers have downloaded the kit which would enable them to develop applications for this new mobile platform.
Apple had released the beta of the iPhone SDK earlier this month. They also showcased some demo applications developed by Electronic Arts Inc. and Salesforce.com for the mobile device.
Apple has aimed to sell 10 million iPhones by the end of the year and this SDK launch would help them expand the usability of the device as a lot more applications would appear from third party developers.
