Apple issues software fix for MacBook Air overheating problem

Apple has issued a software update for their MacBook Air notebook machines. This update fixes the overheating problem with this machine which the company claims is one of the thinnest laptops in the world.
Apple said that the software update would fix the notebook’s system management control fine-tuning the speed and operation of the fan.
Several users of the MacBook Air had complained about this problem in the discussion forums on the Apple website.
