IBM to invest USD 1 billion in unified communications
US based tech giant IBM has revealed that they are going to invest US$1 billion in its unified communications strategy.
These investments would be made in the coming three years as they aim to take on Microsoft in this segment of the market.
The company added that they are working on enhancing their products and technologies including Lotus Sametime to provide unified communications to the largest business customers.
Microsoft recently announced their latest product in this segment of the market named Office Communications Server.
