one-X Mobile for Apple iPhone displayed
Avaya has showcased an Apple iPhone edition of their one-X Mobile client.
The company has however not confirmed whether they would use the Apple iPhone SDK to revamp this client in the future.
They are making available this client to iPhone owners in the US market. European launch is scheduled for later this year.
Avaya said that the software application would enable the iPhone users to manage voice mail and get access to company directories and call logs.
The company added that their aim is to make its service enterprise ready.
For the time being the client runs in the Apple iPhone Safari web browser. This application on other mobile platforms is available in more functional form.
