Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1 launched
Microsoft has made available a test edition of their upcoming update to the Internet Explorer web browser.
IE8 preview edition was unveiled at the MIX08 online technology conference.
The software giant showcased some of the new features of this update which would be very crucial for the web developers around the world considering IE remains the most used web browser on the web.
One of the new features would save the work done online if the net connection goes down. Some other features are related to integration with several online services.
Microsoft has already stated that the IE8 would by default support latest web standards in a similar way to how Firefox, Opera and Safari works.
After installing Internet Explorer beta 1, you can easily import your:
Favorites, Feeds and Extensions from Firefox
Favorites and Feeds from Opera
The company seems to have added features which would provide similar functionalities to add-ons in Firefox.
