Apple updates Aperture application for Mac
Apple has announced the updated Aperture application for the Mac Platform.
Apple Aperture is in version 2.0.1.
The company said that this updated edition fixes upgrading issues.
Existing users can upgrade to the latest version by using the software update system preference.
Apple stated the following changes and updates in this release:
Upgrading libraries from earlier versions of Aperture
Publishing .Mac Web Gallery albums
Preview generation and deletion
Creating and ordering books
AppleScript support
Keyboard shortcut customization
Appearance of metadata overlays in the Browser, Filmstrip, and on light tables
Watermarking of emailed photos
Highlight Hot and Cold Areas
A number of other “minor issues” have also been corrected in Aperture 2.0.1, including the use of the following features:
Loupe
Smart Albums
All Projects View
Straighten Tool
Filmstrip
Drag and drop import
Thumbnail generation
Import window
Export plug-in reliability
Apple is suggesting that all Aperture users should update their installations with this updated release.
