Zend Core to be compatible with Windows Server 2008
Zend Technologies has announced that their Zend Core product would be compatible with the Windows Server 2008 platform.
Zend Core version 2.5 is certified for Windows Server 2008.
Andi Gutmans, CTO and co-founder at Zend said in a statement: “The certification means that customers who choose to use it on Windows Server 2008 know that it will work as it should.”
Microsoft and Zend have been working together since sometime to get PHP to work on the Windows platform.
The software giant has made available a technology named FastCGI which has been designed to enable PHP to run reliably on Microsoft’s platform.
