Identum acquired by security software maker Trend Micro
Trend Micro has announced that they are now acquiring e-mail encryption software vendor Identum.
Identum is based in Bristol, UK. They provide technologies like Private Post which are used to encrypt messages.
Trend Micro said that they are now going to integrate these technologies into their own products.
The company added that they are renaming the company as Trend Micro (Bristol) Ltd.
Trend Micro further said that this acquisition would ensure an even safer, more secure Internet experience for the company’s global customers.
