Vollee brings Second Life to mobile devices
Vollee has announced that they are now working on plans to bring mobile support to the popular virtual world service Second Life.
The company would provide this feature through their streaming mobile games service.
Vollee added that players would be required to have a compatible 3G-enabled phone.
Martin Dunsby, Vollee’s CEO spoke about these plans to bring Second Life to mobile phones: “What we have developed is a service which, for the first time, allows you to access a rich persistent virtual 3-D world the way it is supposed to be experienced on your phone.”
Vollee is supported by several high profile development companies including Activision, Codemasters, and Encore Software.
