DVD Jon launches doubleTwist to enable users to share media
DVD Jon is widely known to have broken the DVD lock some years ago. He is back again with a new software utility which has been launched by his startup company.
The software tool is named doubleTwist and it has been designed to make it easier for users to share media content on a variety of portable media players.
It currently support a variety of platforms including Sony Playstation Portable, Nokia N-Series phones, Sony Walkman and Cybershot phones, LG Viewty, Microsoft Windows Mobile powered phones, Palm Treo and some HTC models.
Monique Farantzos, 34, doubleTwists’s co-founder and chief executive spoke about this new tool: “Users can only play back the music they have already purchased and they are authorized to play.”
