Bungee Labs launches beta of Bungee Connect

Bungee Labs has announced the beta launch of their Bungee Connect on-demand platform for Web application development and deployment.

A company representative spoke about this new service: “Bungee Connect is a single platform for the development, testing, deployment, and hosting of rich Web applications.”

Bungee Labs added that the platform would allow developers to work together to build Web applications leveraging multiple Web services and databases.

These applications would then be deployed on their multi-tenant grid infrastructure.

Dana Gardner, principal analyst at Interarbor Solutions spoke about this new service: “I think it’s got some very interesting benefits because it’s managing to integrate development and deployment but in a service environment, so it allows for a developer to [have] access to tools.”
