MSN Messenger add-on Messenger Plus! 3.54 released

Messenger Plus! is an add-on for MSN Messenger and Windows Messenger, the two popular Instant Messaging softwares from Microsoft. Messenger Plus! adds different features to Messenger to make it more enjoyable, day after day. A list of the main features can be found on the features section of this site. Remember that Messenger Plus! is not a chat program, it only adds functionalities to Messenger; it cannot be used as a standalone application.

We just had a new update from the developers of this funky application. Here is from the developer’s note:

A small update for Messenger Plus! is now available. Version 3.54 only fixes a couple of small bugs found in version 3.52 in addition to restoring proper Unicode compatibility in every area of the software. Nothing is really new in this release, everything is working fine, users seem to be happy with the current features so there’s no point in bloating the software with useless options. Thanks to my new subscription to the Windows Error Reporting system, I’ve been able to locate and fix a couple of bugs affecting a percentage of my user base.

Stay tuned for the next update and meanwhile, enjoy your summer vacations!

I do not want to get rid of my MSn Mess. 7.0 as then I lose everything, so I thought I could update to 7.5 without losing what I have on 7.0.How do I do that?

  30. elizabeth | February 5th, 2006 at 09:13 pm

i downloaded msn plus and messenger 8.0 beta ( which i later found to be a virus and so deleted it )
now every time i try to sign in to msn 7.5 i get the same as everyone else :

the ordinal 35 could not be located in the dynamic link library msidcrl.dll.

i tried to deleted msn 7.5 and reinstall it but this happened again, it also wont let me delete msn 7.0 and says :

This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package.

it also will not let me use msn 7.0

    PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP ME??
