11 security updates from Microsoft this month
The second Tuesday of the month arrived and Microsoft has issued 11 security updates for their products.
One of these patches is to fix the publicly known ActiveX bug that affects users of the Visual FoxPro database.
Microsoft said that these patches fix as many as 17 individual software flaws. Six of these updates are rated critical. Rest of the updates are rated important.
Some other updates are for the Microsoft’s Office products. This release has patches for Microsoft Word, Office Publisher and Office itself.
In addition, Microsoft has also delivered a fix for their Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) Automation software.
