Apple TV Take Two: Apple TV Software Update now available

Apple has finally made available the much awaited software update for their Apple TV product.

This update was announced at the recently concluded Macworld Expo and is designed to massively enhance the capabilities of the Apple TV product.

Apple calls this update the Apple TV Take Two and it adds functionalities like ability to purchase and download video and music directly from iTunes.

With this update, the Apple TV would now support movie rentals through the iTunes Store. Users would also be able to stream photos from web services like Flickr and .Mac Web Galleries.
