Google to start offering e-mail security and storage products for businesses
Search engine giant Google is now expected to start offering more e-mail security and storage products for businesses.
Looks like the company is increasingly becoming a direct challenger to Microsoft.
The new products to be introduced are likely to be based on technologies they gained after acquiring e-mail specialist Postini Inc. for $625 million.
These products are designed to control spam mails and leakage of company data.
Incidentally, Google had acquired Postini to boost their own corporate e-mail services. These new products are likely to support the popular Microsoft Exchange as well as Lotus Notes and Novell Groupwise suites.
