Google fixes Gmail IMAP for Windows Mobile users
Search engine giant Google has revealed that they have now fixed the bug that prevented Windows Mobile user from accessing Gmail through IMAP.
The bug resulted in blank messages being downloaded from Gmail servers.
Google had launched IMAP for Gmail in October last year. The service worked well for users expect for those who were using Windows Mobile powered mobile devices.
Google had at that time acknowledged the problem. The company said that they managed to fix the bug last week.
Google said that Windows Mobile users with properly configured devices should now face no issues accessing their Gmail on their phones.
