IBM to ship Linux version of Open Collaboration Client
US based tech giant IBM has said that they would soon ship a Linux edition of its Open Collaboration Client which includes Lotus Notes 8 and Symphony products.
It would be launched for the hugely popular Ubuntu edition of the Linux distribution.
The company added that they are also working with Red Hat to develop a version of the Open Collaboration Client for small and midsize businesses.
Red Hat would then deliver a version of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Advanced Platform which would bundle Lotus Notes, Symphony, and IBM’s Domino messaging server.
IBM is already working on SUSE Enterprise Linux editions of Lotus Notes and Symphony.
