FoneLink 1.5 synchronizes contacts, dates, notes and bookmarks

nova media announces the release of FoneLink version 1.5 for Mac OS X at Macworld Expo 2008. FoneLink is cell phone companion software that bridges the gap between content on your Mac and content on your cell phone. The new release includes a complete synchronization manager to sync contacts, dates, notes and bookmarks between a Macintosh computer and most recent cell phones from Nokia and Sony Ericsson.

The new release includes a complete synchronization manager to sync contacts, dates, notes and bookmarks between a Macintosh computer and most recent cell phones from Nokia and Sony Ericsson.

Besides synchronization, FoneLink offers an easy way to copy files, photos, videos and music: media files are automatially converted for optimal viewing and listening experiences on the cell phone. Music can be converted to ringtones, and iTunes playlists can be synchronized as well.

The built-in SMS manager allows the user to send, receive and archive SMS text messages. A feature called “Time Tunnel” can back up and restore the phone’s data.

FoneLink requires Mac OS X 10.4.9 or higher (10.5.2 or higher for Leopard) and a compatible cell phone. FoneLink has a price tag of Euro 33,57 plus VAT (approximately $50 U.S.).
