Mozilla Firefox updated to version 1.0.4
Mozilla Firefox needs no introduction. The open source browser has redefined the way people looked at free web browsers. It has dented Microsoft Internet Explorer’s share from the market and now looks set to become the first choice browser for web developers and common user alike. It has seen millions of downloads ever since the first final version was launched a couple of months ago.
It comes with features like Popup Blocking, Tabbed Browsing, Live Bookmarks, and is being supported by many organizations like Google. With Firefox, the Mozilla Foundation aimed to develop a lightweight, fast, intuitive, and highly extensible standalone browser based on the Navigator component of the Mozilla Suite. Firefox has become the foundation’s main development focus (along with its Thunderbird email client), and has replaced the Mozilla Suite as their official main software release. They have been quite successful in their attempt.
Latest news in is that the Mozilla Foundation has released Mozilla Firefox 1.0.4. it is a minor update which fixes a few security holes and some other bugs. The organization is recommending the existing users to upgrade to this latest update to be secure from the possible bug exploitation in older versions. It also addresses critical security and performance issues that resulted after the release of Firefox 1.0.
