FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Sheep Systems announces Bookdog 5. Version 5 adds integration with del.icio.us bookmarks, and a new user interface that makes it a snap to tag and un-tag bookmarks. Also new in Bookdog 5 is support for the new Netscape Navigator.

Bookdog allows users to sort (selectively alphabetize), import/export, migrate, verify, find redirects, search, and find duplicates among their bookmarks collections in Safari, Firefox 1-2.x, Camino, Google Bookmarks, del.icio.us, OmniWeb, Opera, Shiira 2.x and Netscape Navigator. Migrations can be scheduled using Apple’s Automator, and bookmarks on other networked Macs or backup disks are easily accessible.

Bookdog is downloadable from the Sheep Systems site. New users are offered a free demo (trial) license which gives complete access to all of Bookdog’s features for 7 days, and may be granted twice for a total of 14 days.

A permanent license for two Macs, including upgrades for one year is priced at $19.95 USD. Bookdog requires Mac OS 10.3 or later, but some features, such as del.ico.us support, require Mac OS 10.4 or later. Bookdog looks best in Mac OS 10.5.
