Microsoft post a fix for Internet Explorer problem
Microsoft confirmed recently that some users of the Internet Explorer web browser were facing stability problems after they installed the latest patches.
The company made available a registry hack to fix those issues.
They have now made available an easier fix for this issue. A company representative said: “We have been working with a small number of customers that reported issues related to the installation of MS07-069. Specifically, on a Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2)-based computer, Internet Explorer 6 may stop responding when you try to a visit a Web site.”
The problem affects mostly those users who have customized their installations of the IE web browser.
