OpenOffice Online beta launched

Online software provider Ulteo has announced that they are now making available a hosted version of OpenOffice.org 2.3.

This would be available for testing to web users. It would be accessible from the Ulteo’s Online Desktop package.

This desktop package offers a variety of open source, Web-based applications and services.

The company is hoping that this new addition to their online kit would enhance its collaborative capabilities.

This hosted edition of OpenOffice provides yet another alternative to web users who can already choose from several options like Google Docs and Zoho Office Suite.
