Microsoft releases Hyper-V virtualization technology beta
Microsoft has been surprising the market experts with the recent developments. First they released the Office 2007 Service Pack 1 before the scheduled date.
And now they have released the beta of the Windows Server 2008 virtualization technology Hyper-V ahead of promised date.
Microsoft said that they have now made available Hyper-V beta for download on their website. It is ready for use with the current x64 beta version of Windows Server 2008.
Bill Hilf, general manager of Windows Server at Microsoft said in a statement that their customers had been asking for a product like this since quite some time.
Hyper-V has been designed to work directly within the Windows Server environment. This makes it easier to manage and implement.
