Amazon now launches Amazon SimpleDB database service
Amazon has a new service for all the budding web entrepreneurs. The company has announced the launch of their Amazon SimpleDB service.
Amazon SimpleDB is basically a Web service for querying structured data.
Adam Selipsky, VP of Product Management and Developer Relations said that they would make available this new service to a limited number of beta testers in the next few weeks.
Amazon already offers Web Services which enables them to offer a part of their huge network to web companies for affordable prices.
Amazon added that their SimpleDB is designed to complement their existing services Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2).
