Movable Type Open Source launched

Six Apart has finally launched the open source version of their blogging software Movable Type.

This edition has been named Movable Type Open Source.

One of the primary reasons for this special edition is the ever growing popularity of the rival blogging solution WordPress which is totally free and open source.

MTOS is available under the GPL version 2.

Six Apart says about this version:
