VMWare and SAP collaborate on support
VMWare has said that they are now collaborating with SAP to provide support to customers running their applications on VMWare’s ESX Server.
The support would be provided by SAP to customers running VMWare’s ESX Server, in 64-bit Windows and Linux environments.
This announcement is crucial for VMWare as their domination in the industry is threatened by the entry of new players in the market like Sun and Oracle.
VMWare added that server products from Fujitsu-Siemens, HP, Dell and IBM are now certified to run SAP software on VMWare.
