Microsoft Volta technology showcased
Microsoft has showcased their latest technology concept named Volta.
The company showcased a preview version of a new programming toolset named Volta which has been designed to make it easier for developers to code Web and rich Internet applications.
Microsoft Volta is based on C# and Visual Basic and it is closely tied to their .NET technology.
The company added that any application written with Volta can be debugged from within Visual Studio.
Eric Meijer, principal architect at Microsoft added in a statement: “By releasing Volta as an experimental toolset, we hope to validate the overall goal and approach, as well as collect feedback that will be helpful in driving further development.”
