Microsoft to update Windows Genuine Advantage in Vista SP1
Software giant Microsoft has stated that the Vista OS SP1 would come with an updated version of their Windows Genuine Advantage program.
This updated edition would be a lot forgiving and would follow a gentler approach to alert the users if they are using pirated edition of the Vista OS.
The new WGA edition would allow the users to continue using the operating system without disabling features like it does now.
However, it would take steps to make sure that the user would get repetitive alerts that the OS copy is not genuine.
They would also be invited to buy a legal copy of the OS at a reduced price.
