Intel Software Development Products for Mac OS X updated for Penryn processors
Microprocessor Company Intel has now updated their Software Development Products for Mac OS X to add support for their recently launched Intel’s Penryn processors.
This means that Apple is now likely to launch updated models of their Macs featuring this new range of Intel microprocessors.
The company said that the software development tools now include updated compilers and libraries for development environments like C, C++ and FORTRAN that optimize applications to take advantage of features in Intel’s latest 64-bit multicore processors.
Apple has not yet commented on how soon they would start selling products with these new processors. Market analysts believe that Apple Mac Pro range would be the first to get these.

Pro Macs first? Nah, I just bought an iMac, so they’ll be the first to get the new chips. :)
