KDE 4.0 now scheduled for release in January 2008
The developers behind the KDE project have revealed that they are delaying the release of the KDE 4.0 edition to January next year.
It was currently planned for release by the middle of the current month. Looks like the developer needs more time to polish the release for the final edition.
The announcement added that most sections of KDE 4 like KDE Development Platform and applications are already considered stable and well-usable.
However, there are still some components remaining which need some additional work before the first edition of KDE 4 is released.
