Boot Camp for Tiger expires at the end of the year
Apple has now stated that the Boot Camp application for the Mac OS X Tiger edition would expire on December 31 this year.
They would not be releasing any more updates for this application. The application itself would expire at the end of year.
Users dual booting with Windows XP on their Macs would be able to use the installed edition after the expiration but the program used to manage the partitions would expire.
Apple would also be no longer provide driver updates after this expiration. The only way out for these users would be to upgrade to Leopard edition of Mac OS X.
