Apple QuickTime Bug affects Windows XP and Vista
A new bug has been discovered in the Apple QuickTime application and reports are saying that the attack code for this bug has been released online.
This bug affects the QuickTime application on the Windows XP and Vista platforms.
It is yet not clear whether it affects the Mac version of the application.
The problem exists in QuickTime 7.2 and 7.3 and it is related to the player’s handling of the Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP).
Reports are claiming that the bug is a bit easier on the Vista platform due to bad design by the developers at Apple.
Apple had released the latest version of this application just around three weeks ago.
