Microsoft: Vista has sold 88 million copies till now
Software giant Microsoft has stated that they have sold more than 88 million copies of the Vista operating system worldwide.
The company said that the increasing number of migration suggest that the customers are finally upgrading their machines with their new OS.
This comes just as the market experts are suggest that customers are still avoiding Vista OS due to several performance and hardware compatibility related issues.
Diane Hagglund of King Research has this to say on Vista Migration strategies in the market: “Stability in general was frequently cited, as well as compatibility with the business software that would need to run on Vista. Cost was also cited as a concern by some respondents.”
Reports are also claiming that some companies might entirely skip Vista to wait for their next operating system release.
