GNU Affero General Public License version 3 released
The Free Software Foundation has now released the new open-source software license named GNU Affero General Public License version 3 (GNU AGPLv3).
This license has been released for developers who code for SaaS applications.
This license is developed in such a way that it enables the developers to guarantee that any modifications to software used to power publicly available services will be contributed to the free software community.
The Free Software Foundation said that this new license has developed with GPLv3 as its base.
GPLv3 was released earlier this year.
