Firefox 3 beta 1 released
Mozilla has now released the much awaited first beta of their Firefox 3 web browser edition. The release has come after several delays.
Mozilla Firefox 3 beta 1 comes with several major enhancements including improved security, ease of use, rendering of Web pages.
It also comes with support for limited offline support for several web applications.
They have made available the first beta for several platforms including Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. It is available in around 20 localized languages.
The release notes further stated on the rendering engine being supplied with this edition of Firefox: “Gecko 1.9 includes some major re-architecting for performance, stability, correctness, and code simplification and sustainability.”
