Mac OS X Leopard gets UNIX 03 product standard certifications
Apple recently launched their Leopard range of operating systems in the market.
The Open Group has good news for the company as the have now given the OS UNIX 03 product standard certifications.
The certifications have been given to both Leopard and Leopard Server editions.
This is good news for Apple as it gives them the stamp to show that their OS conform to the latest UNIX product standard.
The Open Group added in its statement that the Mac OS X Leopard has now become the first operating system derived from BSD UNIX to meet the certification requirements.
