Baidu working on 3G mobile applications for Chinese market
Google might be the global leader in the search engine market but they are yet to overtake Baidu in China.
Baidu.com is the market leader here and they are now working on a possible challenger to the recently announced Google Android mobile platform.
The Chinese search engine company is working with partners to develop new mobile search applications. These would be optimized for the 3G platform.
They are in fact already the market leader when it comes to mobile search in China through their WAP based services.
Market research has shown that the company has successfully managed to keep Google at bay with their innovative services and technologies.
