Apple releases update for 20 and 24 inch aluminum iMacs

Apple has released a software update for their 20 and 24 inch aluminum iMacs.

The company added that these updates are designed to address issues that might have been causing stability issues on these machines.

These updates are specifically for the machines which were shipped with ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro graphics running Mac OS X 10.4.10 with iMac Software Update 1.2.1 or Leopard with iMac Software Update 1.3.

Apple said that the machines needed to be fixed would be delivered these updates through the automatic software update utility.

Apple had actually released a software patch for this problem sometime back but apparently it did not completely fix the problem.
