IBM updates Lotus Symphony software
US based tech giant IBM has updated their Lotus Symphony application. The second version of this free office productivity software has been made available for download.
IBM claims that the first edition of the software was downloaded by more than one-quarter million registered users.
As many as 88% of these people were existing Microsoft Office users.
IBM said that the second beta of this application features improved performance, access and ease-of-use.
The company has also made it easier for the user to get this free office productivity software. They are providing an instant, one-click installation that produces a single Symphony icon for all three document editors.
IBM further claims that this second beta is going to be much faster for the user compared to the first version.
