Yahoo OneSearch available in Latin America now

Search engine company Yahoo has announced that they are now providing their OneSearch mobile services in the Latin America market.

These services are now available in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico. Mobile users in these countries would now be able to download Yahoo’s OneSearch mobile Internet software from their website.

This software would come loaded with local information in Spanish or Portuguese languages.

Yahoo OneSearch also provides easy access to more information sources like local news, financial data, weather conditions, Flickr photos and other data.

Marco Boerries, executive vice president of Yahoo’s Connected Life division spoke about this new development: “You can see this as a precursor for our partners to deploy it on their side.”
