High Tech Computer working on a Google technology powered mobile phone

High Tech Computer is incidentally the world’s largest manufacturer of mobile devices powered by Microsoft Windows mobile platform.

The company has now announced that they are developing phones which would be powered with Google’s recently announced mobile platform.

They aim to launch it in the market by the middle of next year.

Google announced on Monday this week, their Android mobile platform. This platform would include a Linux based OS and it would take advantage of Internet services for mobility.

A company spokesperson added on the effect this move could have on their Windows Mobile platform based mobile devices: “Our commitment to the Windows Mobile platform is unwavering.”
